Megan Brandon

Vice President of Programs

My family and I moved to Prosper in 2018 and we have enjoyed seeing our daughters, Sophia, and Chloe flourish in PISD! Sophia will be attending Rushing MS and Chloe will be at Stuber Elementary. The growth of this district is a true testament to the excellence that can be found in the leaders, teachers, and staff of PISD. I am honored to share my passion for education with the community by serving on the PEF Board of Directors.

I currently serve as the Regional Program Manager for a national non-profit organization, Generation Citizen, who partners with districts and schools across the country providing civics curricular materials, teacher professional development and classroom support.  I am a former classroom teacher in Bastrop ISD, having taught 9th grade Social Studies, providing students additional opportunities to be active changemakers through partnerships with the University of Texas and the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life.

I received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, both from Middle Tennessee State University. I also have 8 years of community college teaching under my belt, working in both TN and TX.
