Opportunities Made Possible

Empowering Educators

Fueling great teaching. Funding bold ideas.

PEF invests in the educators who make extraordinary learning possible across Prosper ISD. Through our signature Excellence & Innovation Grants, we put funding behind bold ideas that transform learning and create new opportunities for students.

And our investment doesn’t stop there. Through the PEF Spark Shop, professional learning, and support for new educators, PEF helps equip and empower teachers throughout their journey.

Invest in an educator, and the impact multiplies—classroom by classroom, student by student.

Teacher Grants

PEF awards competitive grants to Prosper ISD teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, and librarians with ideas that make classrooms better. $80,000 in funding is available each school year for projects that directly benefit students.

Excellence and Innovation Grants

The Prosper Education Foundation’s Educational Excellence & Innovation Grants support bold, innovative ideas that create meaningful and measurable impact for Prosper ISD students, staff, campuses, and the community. These competitive grants invest in projects that strengthen teaching and learning, enhance the student experience, support staff, and advance Prosper ISD’s Strategic Priorities.

Star Polisher

PEF rewards and recognizes teachers for their hard work and dedication to their students with various support programs throughout the school year!

PISD Professional Learning

PEF provides staff development opportunities for Prosper ISD teachers each year.

Investing in Students

Every investment is an opportunity for a student to go further.

Opening doors today. Creating opportunities for tomorrow.
PEF invests directly in opportunities that help Prosper ISD students challenge themselves, pursue their goals, and prepare for what comes next.

From helping fund AP and Dual Credit opportunities to providing scholarships for graduating seniors, PEF works to help remove financial barriers and expand access to educational opportunities.

AP Testing Scholarship

PEF covers the cost of Advanced Placement exams for Prosper ISD juniors and seniors — so the only thing standing between students and college credit is showing up. Applications open each spring for the current school year.

Dual Credit Scholarships

Helps pay for one Collin College dual credit class in the 2026–27 school year. Applications are open January 5–16.

Scholarships for Seniors

Scholarships that help Prosper ISD graduates pay tuition and fees at colleges, universities or trade schools. An application is required.

EXPANDING WHAT’S POSSIBLE

INVESTING IN STUDENTS. EXPANDING THEIR FUTURE.

Investing in programs and initiatives that elevate student experiences and respond to opportunities across Prosper ISD.

PEF invests in programs and initiatives that elevate the student experience across Prosper ISD. From leadership and belonging to wellness and personal growth, these investments create opportunities for students to connect, discover, grow, and thrive.

PEF-supported programs include Hope Squad, JROTC, Unstoppable Athletes, and other initiatives making a meaningful difference for students across the district.

Hope Squad

Hope Squad trains middle and high school students — chosen by their peers — to recognize warning signs in classmates and connect them with adult support. It’s a peer-led mental health program that builds a culture of care on every Prosper ISD campus.

JROTC

JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) plays a crucial role in students’ development by instilling discipline, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility. Through its structured program, students learn the values of teamwork, self-confidence, and respect, which are essential for success in both military and civilian life. Moreover, JROTC provides opportunities for personal growth, community service, and career exploration, shaping well-rounded individuals ready to face future challenges with confidence and integrity.

Unstoppable Athletes

Unstoppable Athletes provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
