We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Carrie Thomas as the new Executive Director of the Prosper Education Foundation. With 19 years of experience in public education, Dr. Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and a deep commitment to PEF.
Dr. Thomas served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, Director of Professional Learning, and Director of Community Engagement before joining the Prosper Education Foundation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and master’s and doctorate in Educational Administration from Texas A & M –Commerce.
She is passionate about public schools and is excited to further PEF’s mission of supporting and encouraging educational excellence, achievement, and innovation in Prosper ISD.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being with friends and family, and volunteering at local organizations in the community!
