PEF-SUPPORTED PROGAMS

SUPPORTING STUDENTS. EMPOWERING EDUCATORS. STRENGTHENING PROSPER ISD.

Prosper Education Foundation works alongside Prosper ISD to invest in opportunities that strengthen education, support educators, and help students thrive.

Our investments evolve as the needs and priorities of Prosper ISD change. From classroom resources and innovative programs to scholarships and student support, PEF helps provide funding where Foundation resources can make a meaningful difference.

Hope Squad

Hope Squads (Grades 6–12) are comprised of students identified by classmates and peers as trustworthy. These students are trained to watch for at-risk peers. Squad members provide friendship, identify warning signs, and seek help from adults. Hope Squad® members are not taught to act as counselors but rather are educated to recognize signs of suicide contemplation and respectfully report concerns to an adult. Hope Squads utilize three key elements: QPR Partnership, Curriculum Phases, and Hope Squad Advisors.

$160,000

has been provided by PEF to support this life-saving program.

WHY IT MATTERS

Research has shown that kids are more likely to confide in their peers making this training invaluable for student support during times of need.

JROTC

JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) plays a crucial role in students’ development by instilling discipline, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility. Through its structured program, students learn the values of teamwork, self-confidence, and respect, which are essential for success in both military and civilian life. Moreover, JROTC provides opportunities for personal growth, community service, and career exploration, shaping well-rounded individuals ready to face future challenges with confidence and integrity.

$60,000

in annual funding supports JROTC, giving students a head start on their military careers.

WHY IT MATTERS

JROTC is now in its fourth year in Prosper ISD, made possible by your generous donations to PEF!

Unstoppable Athletes

Unstoppable Athletes provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

$12,000

in annual funding supports Unstoppable Athletes and the Family Resource Center.

WHY IT MATTERS

Unstoppable Athletes allows students the opportunity for physical fitness, building courage and experiencing joy by participating in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other students and the community.

INVESTING IN EDUCATORS

Great educators have great ideas—and sometimes they simply need the resources to make them happen.

PEF invests in educators through:
$100,000+ Invested in Educators

INVESTING IN OPPORTUNITY

Some of PEF’s greatest impact happens when a need or opportunity arises and we are able to say, “How can we help?”

PEF works alongside Prosper ISD leadership to identify opportunities where Foundation funding can enhance,
expand, or accelerate work already happening across the district.

Because the needs of a growing school district change, our investments will too.
That flexibility allows PEF to remain responsive while staying focused on our mission.
